Pairs, doubles, and full team events are now first-class on OWR.

• TOs pair the teams, captains pair their own players within each team.

• Captains can pay entry for the whole team in one go, and every team member is auto-marked as paid.

• Team score caps. TOs can set a per-tournament cap on individual scores so a single blowout game doesn't dominate the team total.

• Captains can rename teams without TO involvement.

• Standings track team and individual ranks side by side, with no spreadsheet wrangling.

If you've been holding off running a doubles or team event because the tooling wasn't there, it is now.

Secondary objectives are now built into the scoring pipeline end to end.

• Templates for the official Matched Play scenarios are built in: Special Features, Breaking the Enemy, Baggage Trains, Domination, Strategic Locations, Capture the Standards.

• Custom objectives with your own VP or BP values, names, and rules text.

• Assign objectives per scenario or per round. Scenario templates pull in the right secondaries automatically, but you can adjust before locking the round.

• Players score them in Battle Hub during the match. No spreadsheet, no scoresheet, no chasing TOs at the end of the day.

• Standings can rank by secondary BP as a tiebreaker on top of the usual battle points and SoS.

Setup to standings, the whole pipeline is wired up.

You know the drill. You get your opponent's list before a match and start flipping between the army book, the rulebook, and the FAQ trying to figure out what their Talisman actually does, whether those Knights get Devastating Charge with that mount, and if that unit has Fire & Flee.

Four books. Three apps. You haven't even started deploying yet.

Introducing AI Smart Convert

AI Smart Convert takes any text army list on OWR and turns it into a fully interactive Battle Builder list - in seconds. Rules lookups, equipment breakdowns, points validation, all of it. And because it's 100% Old World Builder compatible, you can download any converted list as an .owb.json file.

Here's what it means for you:

• 13,000+ army lists already converted - every list on OWR, done automatically

• New lists converted in real time - as tournament lists are submitted, they're processed instantly

• One-click Send to Battle Builder - find a list you like? Send it straight to Builder

• Works across every faction - handles Full Command, magic items, mounts, detachments, all of it

Before a tournament, review every opponent's list in Builder format with rules lookups built in - no books required. Before a match, pull up your opponent's list, check their magic items, see what their special rules actually do. Everything in one place.

AI Smart Convert is an OWR Pro feature. It's the kind of tool that, once you use it, you wonder how you managed without it.

We've rebuilt the foundation of Faction Stats from the ground up - storing pre-computed data directly in the database so results load dramatically faster for everyone.

What's new

• Multi-faction comparison - Select multiple factions at once to compare them side by side

• Renegades filter - Now a dedicated 3-way toggle: exclude renegades, include them, or view only renegades on their own

• Snappier load times - Stats are now pre-calculated and ready to serve instantly instead of being crunched on demand

We've just launched a powerful new Army List Search feature to help you dig through thousands of competitive tournament lists with ease.

Now you can:

• Search using flexible terms and quoted phrases like "black orc" or "ruby ring".

• Find matches even if the words are scattered or out of order.

• Instantly explore unit names, magic items, spells, equipment, and more.

Simply navigate to the Top Lists page and locate the search bar. Start typing and watch it intelligently surface results across our entire database.

We've just dropped a brand new Faction Performance chart to help you dive deeper into how each army is performing in tournaments.

Why This Chart Matters

This isn't just another win-rate bar chart. We teamed up with Malign Musings to bring you something that better reflects true over- and under-performance in the meta.

Instead of raw win rates alone, we now use z-scores and standard deviations to show statistically significant performance - so you can see which factions are really pulling ahead (or falling behind) the pack.

How it works

Each faction's win rate is compared to the average (mean) across all factions, and then categorized based on how far they deviate:

• Balanced (Green): Performing within 1 standard deviation of the mean.

• Outliers (Red): Over or underperforming beyond 1 SD.

• Extreme Outliers (Dark Red): More than 2 SD from the mean.

You'll also see error bars representing each faction's performance variance - how stable or swingy their results have been.

Exportable Charts!

Want to share a spicy stat or bring receipts to your next group chat? You can now export all our charts individually to PNG - perfect for discussions, debates, or social media posts.

In preparation for the new Matched Play book and FAQ/Errata update (And Cathay), you can now look at faction stats and army lists based around releases of Arcane Journals and FAQ/Erratas as well as community updates like 'the Renegade Pack'.

This helps you understand how the meta changes as new Arcane Journals drop or when Errata adjust the relative strength of different factions.

Old World Rankings has been tracking global faction stats for a couple of months now and now we've added 'unofficial' factions to support the Renegade factions. These are 'off' by default in the stats, but if you are interested, you can toggle the filter to show them.

In addition, when logging army lists, you can also specify the renegade faction.

Coming soon will be the ability to set date ranges for the stats as well to get a feel for how the Meta changes.
